2 Ingredient Fudge
When it comes to Holiday gift baskets, I’m a huge fan of including several simple recipes to keep the chaos (and mess) in my kitchen to a minimum. Of course, the recipes also have to taste good. This recipe couldn’t be any simpler – chocolate chips and a can of store bought frosting. It really doesn’t sound all that tasty (the person who first asked me to taste this recipe wouldn’t tell me what was in it until I’d actually tried it and raved about it), but you’ll be amazed when you taste it. It actually tastes like fudge, and good fudge at that! Feel free to get creative and mix up the type of chips (peanut butter is a favorite at our house) and frosting that you use.
2 Ingredient Fudge
- 1 bag chocolate (or your favorite flavor) chips
- 1 can of store bought cake frosting (chocolate and vanilla are both safe bets, but get creative!)
Thoroughly grease a 9X9 pan with butter.
Place chocolate chips in a medium-size microwave safe bowl. Heat in the microwave at 30 second intervals until chocolate is almost completely melted. Finish melting by stirring by hand. Once chips are fully melted, fold in the can of cake frosting. Heat in the microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring after each interval until frosting is fully melted. Stir the mixture to make sure the chips and frosting are fully combined.
Pour into greased pan and allow to set. Remove from pan and cut into individual servings.
