Are You Craftsy? If so this is for you!

Are you a craftsy person?  I always have good intentions, but just have too many other things going on in my life!  I would LOVE to get back into knitting some day!  I’m sure I will when the kids are a bit older.  I learned the basic skills and then life kept moving!  I do love quick easy projects though!  It is fun to say you made something by yourself!

At any rate, I recently came across a really fun site!  It is called Craftsy.  Have you heard of it?  You can check it out here.

Craftsy is the fastest growing online community for Crafters – with over 500,000 monthly
unique visitors, having just launched in May 2011. This rapid growth results from two primary offerings which Craftsy users love:

1)  Terrific online classes from amazing instructors for beginning, intermediate and advanced quilters, knitters, crocheters, sewists, jewelry makers, and other crafters.

2) Astonishingly good deals on crafting supplies: organic yarn, lovely fabrics and fat quarters from top designers, high quality needles, etc…

I love looking at the deals, and I also love looking at the project gallery!  I feel inspired every time I stop in!

Go take a look now!

On a total side note – up above I was going to write sewers (like people who sew) but realized that spells sewers (like where the toilet water goes…)  So sewists it became!  What is the proper term for someone who sews anyway?

lol, sewers – I didn’t think of that until you mentioned it and yes, that is how you spell “where toilet water goes”, so I like sewists!!

I believe you would call them “seamstress”–of which I am not but my 3 sisters are!!!
