Back To School Lunch Box – Review & Give-Away

Congratulations to Susan Budd – Our winner!  She said:

“Oh, I LOVE these! It’s like being able to build your own lunchables in a reusable container! For some reason, kids think lunchables are great, but putting stuff in baggies or separate containers just doesn’t get the same response. I love that the end result is not a bunch of crazy containers in the dishwasher with tiny lids falling through the racks and melting on the bottom. I love that these bags will hold the container AND just about anything else you would want with your meal. It’s hard to find lunch boxes just that right size. I would love an aqua one! Truth is, I could use all five colors for my five kids! ;-)

Thank you to all who entered.  This contest is now closed.

It’s that time of year – when we are getting our kids ready for back to school!  Along with the basic school supplies, generally an item on your buying list is a kid’s lunch box for each child.  This year, especially, I have seen sooo many choices in this department!  There are lots of choices, but they are not always within everyone’s budget – especially when you are also paying for clothes, pencils, backpacks and school registration – it adds up fast doesn’t it?  Especially if you have several kiddo’s to buy for.  (like me!)

Recently contacted me about reviewing their product.  We actually already had a couple lunch boxes from other companies, but I told them to go ahead and send them along – as we can always use lunch boxes it seems!  Well…. I am happy to say I LOVE this system!  (and I am pretty sure you are going to LOVE it too! – it is extremely affordable and easy to use!)

The idea of was born out of Kelly Lester’s response to unhealthy school lunch programs.  It was her desire (and mine…) to send her 3 kids to school with a nutritious meal, using little to no wasteful packaging. But the Easy Lunchbox System is not just for kids. Adult size meals fit perfectly too.

The Easy Lunchbox System’s design, functionality, and low price has quickly made it  a top choice among green lunch box solutions since it came on the market in December, 2009.

Kelly says,  “I was like other frustrated moms – I didn’t like throwing together lunches during the morning rush. So much time was wasted sorting through a cabinet of mismatched food containers while trying to pack 15-25 well-balanced lunches per week. I struggled to find something that would help me pack lunches fast, without resorting to the ‘convenience’ of expensive, pre-packaged ‘fast-food.’ Most importantly, I wanted something attractive, eco-friendly, and made of food-safe materials that I didn’t have to wash by hand.

My clever solution to the lunch-packing chore is the simple two piece EasyLunchbox container:

The bottom has three compartments to hold an entree or sandwich and two side dishes. The fitted lid (which comes in 4 colors) covers all three compartments at once. No more squished sandwiches, mismatched plastic container pieces to keep track of (matching up all those bottoms and lids was the thing that drove me nuts!) or wasteful baggies. Fits perfectly inside the roomy EasyLunchbox custom carrying bag. 963461855_CYxuG-Th And there is still plenty of room to throw in an extra snack or two, whole fruit, perhaps a thermos of soup, drink and ice block.  Flexibility is key, and since so many different things can fit, no matter what menu you choose to include, it packs easily and quickly. It’s amazing how much faster, greener, & easier lunch box packing is with the EasyLunchbox system.”

Supporting the waste-free lunch movement, offers a reusable, superior solution at a much lower price than other companies. (only $13.95 for FOUR Containers, and $7.95 for a Carrying Bag)  Great for large families and those on a limited budget.

The containers are FDA approved. No BPA, phthalates, lead, vinyl, or PVC. Safe for dishwasher, freezer, and microwave.

The simple chic design and bright colors of their Cooler Bags can even be personalized! They have included a sturdy grommet in the carrying handle so you can easily attach a pretty key ring, dietary restrictions warning tag, or your choice of any type of handcrafted or store bought “flair.”   The Cooler Bags are made of the highest quality 300D Polyester for premium durability and toughness. Vinyl free (PVC free) & lead free, with an FDA compliant PEVA lining.

Win One!
Okay, so now that I am done talking them up…. would you like one?  Yeah, I thought so!  Here’s the scoop.  Head over to and leave in the comments something you have learned & like about their products, along with which carrying bag color you would pick.  That’s it!  pretty easy right?  Then, I will randomly pick a winner on Aug. 17th.

  1. Deeann Kruse says:

I love the easy lunch box set up. I have found similar containers before that were okay, but didn’t fit in any cooler bag I had properly. I have even tried a lunch bag that came with a container sort of like these, but there was no extra room for anything else. I love that these containers fit in the bottom to make a nice base and there is still room for extras. It is perfect. I love the dark red one, and my daughter loves the blue one… I will definitly be saving some money from a few paydays to buy a couple of these.
The lunch ideas and tips were great, and I love the lunch box notes!

  2. I like that the EasyLunchBox system is a “whole system” put together to keep moms and kids organized. I like the fact that you can pack the lunch in one container and keep it in the fridge, then pack the lunch quickly into the cooler bag in the morning. I also like that the system means I don’t have to buy as many ziplock baggies! I like the bright colors. I would choose the blue bag if I won the contest (keeping my fingers crossed!)

  3. Lisa Erickson says:

I would love to have an EasyLunchBox – it would make packing cold lunches so much easier. I have tried all sorts of containers in the past but nothing really worked well, either the containers were too big and no room for a drink and ice pack, or they were too small and smashed the sanwiches with no room for extra food inside them. I also use way too many baggies which are not good for the envirnment or my wallet. I would love to have an all-in-one lunchbox system to have lunches made ahead and grabbed from the fridge in the morning. I think a dark colored one would just be awesome!

  4. Jennifer says:

These are so cool! Love all the wonderful lunch tips and ideas on their website … I especially loved the idea they had about keeping runny foods like yogurt from leaking, using waxed paper. So clever! And I really like that they are dishwasher safe, even on the bottom rack. As for the color of the cooler bag … no contest … olive! I {{heart}} green LOL!

  5. Lisa-Jean says:

Wow! What a great way to unclutter lunch prep times (in the *sigh* mornings), and I think the “flair” (bling? LOL) is way cool, but I think the 2 things that just makes me happiest is the BPA/phthalates/lead free and that it can go in the freezer (yay!)–I could use this to make a week’s worth of lunches for hubby on Sunday afternoon, and sleep that extra 20 minutes *smiles*…of course, *I* would choose the aqua bag! (poor hubby)

  6. Kris says:

I like that they fit so well and the carrier comes in that fabulous gender neutral green that will work with any member of the house. Can you tell I have had my eye on one for a bit?

  7. Rachel says:

Love the fact that they are eco friendly as i too would like to eliminate using so many ziploc baggies. I love all the bright colors but especially like the green bag, if I were to win.

  8. Melanie says:

Okay – here’s my response – – – it would be so much easier to list something you DON’T LIKE about the system rather than what you do like! HA! These are just the coolest things and I absolutely love so many things about them, but if I had to pick one thing I like the fact that even though they are made out of some kind of plastic (and of course I love that they are BPA free and all of the other stuff that is harmful to us humans), but they are both dishwasher AND microwave safe. That is amazing and so cool – how many times have we bought something only to get it home and realize after the first use that it is a pain in the bootie to wash or keep all of the parts together – if I had a nickel for all the ones I’ve bought and now hate, I’d have money to buy these (in case I don’t win! LOL). Here’s something I might want to pass on to the smart lady that came up with these that I bet she hasn’t thought of yet. So I am the mom of a daughter who is now 25, but I still really want and NEED one of these (actually I would love to have 2 of them!). The reason I really want to win this is because my daughter has cancer and so we spend LOTS of time at the hospital, doctor’s appointments, and on the days she gets IV meds (chemo one day a week and 2 other medicines on 2 other days), so we are in the cancer clinic at least 3 FULL days a week (every infusion takes about 8 hours all total). The cancer clinic is at MD Anderson in Houston and of course they have lots of different options for eating – cafe’s, full restaurants, little sandwich shops, etc. – all over the hospital but you cannot believe how expensive ANY KIND OF FOOD OR DRINKS are and obviously you can easily conclude that there is NO WAY we can eat anywhere we have to purchase food, so we always pack our lunches and snacks (I always pack myself something even though on chemo days, obviously Lindsey doesn’t even want a sip of water without getting sick) but on the other days she sometimes feels like eating something and sometimes not, but usually she can handle a PBJ and some fruit – or she may just drink an Ensure or we have other shake-type things that you actually have to have a prescription for, but she really likes them and they don’t usually make her sick, and they are chock-full of lots of necessary vitamins and calories, so they help with her calorie intake. So having a couple of these would be an absolute joy for us! So, I really would love to win this!

  9. Sherrie says:

Well I was unable to find anywhere to comment on that website so I’m going to post my comments here and hopefully it counts!

Wow, what a treasure trove of lunch ideas that website has! I have been terrible at ideas for lunches and my poor son is so tired of my boring sandwich ideas that he is looking forward to school lunches! (Yeah its THAT bad – eek). On interesting thing that I found on the website was a fund raising program ( for schools – I’m going to take that idea to our PTA! I’d love the green carrier for my kiddo.

  10. Heather says:

Oh wow! If there is such a thing as karma then hopefully I can win this. I saw a review of this system on another blog and bought it immediately. A few weeks later my husband forgot it on the train. I was so bummed. I love that the lunchbox is gender neutral (so many are just too feminine) and I love the plasticware that fits perfectly. I would probably choose black.

  11. Heather says:

These lunch boxes are great! I really like that they are BPA free and can go in the microwave or dishwasher. I love the turquoise one!!

  12. Lisa says:

I like the fact that it reduces trash and would be easy to make the night before and send them off in the morning. My kids would prefer green!

  13. Kellie Smith says:

I love this system. I would use it to help make lunches in advance and then I’m able to store them in fridge. Also, I’d just use it for myself. I try to take my lunch everyday as eating out is so expensive. I would really love to win this. The color I would like is Purple.

  14. Stephanie says:

I’d love to buy these containers, but wonder if they will fit into the lunch bags we just purchased? The lunch bags are velcro tops, with a zipper that runs along the bottom (purchased at Wal*Mart)

  15. cheryl says:

I like the fact that you don’t have to use a million little ziploc bags .. so annoying! I also think having a system like this would encourage my son to eat what is in it .. my kids love little kits and organizational things .. yep just like their mom! I also like the fact that they are dishwasher safe!

If I won I would pick green!

  16. Lisa says:

Love that the plastic meal container fits perfectly in the carrying bag…and I love the blue bag the most!

  17. Honey says:

    I like the three compartments!

  18. Kimberly says:

My response-I would love to win a Easy Luch box. They are eco friendly, helps maintain organizations,BPA free, can be frozen and can store regula cold food. They system is awesome. I love how it can neatly stack up and make a great space saver. I would use them to pack a weeks worth of lunches and store left overs without wasting anything. I also love the cool colors that are available. Also, i can pack everthing in one container. (My favorite feature). If i win, I would like mines to be the color red.

  19. Patricia says:

This year I am making lunches for two kids and it can be a real pain to fit everything in a single bag. I really like the waste free method that this system encourages. I also like the single container with the separate compartments and the fact that the bag is big enough to hold a thermos and a water bottle as well. Very handy. I would choose the purple bag.

  20. Aubrey Stalcup says:

I love the ability to make-ahead with these little boxes. I also love all the lunch ideas that are on the site! What’s really great is that everyone in the family can use these, not just the kids. I could pack this for my husband’s lunch and send it with a thermos of soup or a side salad. Best of all they’re BPA-free and I can put them in the dishwasher! Provided my husband remembers to bring them home from work that is, lol!

  21. monique says:

I like that they are BPA free, which I didn’t know. I also like that they offer menu suggestions since this will be my 1st year packing lunches. I like the blue bag.

  22. Carla Burgoyne says:

For me, it’s the individual sections of these great containers that will help me keep my portions under control. For my family, it’s going to make packing (and storing in the fridge!) their lunches so much easier. Anything to help keep us organized, without adding waste to the environment get’s a thumb’s up from me. If I were to win a groovy bag, I’d be happy with the green-coloured one :)

  23. Margie says:

I love the whole site. I have one child that loves to take his lunch and the 3 compartments is the perfect size for him. The fact that they are BPA-free is even better. He loves the green one. Having a lunch boxes that fits the container is such a bonus.

  24. Lena Anderson says:

Great idea. I like the fact that they fit in the cooler and are one piece instead of multiple containers. I would love the green one.

  25. Terri M says:

Love all the lunch ideas. This looks like a great system. I would love to have one. Great colors to choose from.
    Color – light blue

  26. Sharon says:

I love having the ability to pack lunches the night before. Mornings are already hectic trying to get my husband and kids out the door on-time, so anything that i can do in advance is much appreciated. I also appreciate the fact that this system pretty much eliminates the need for plastic baggies (which end up in the trash). I love the green lunch box! (I am a Tinkerbell nut and it’s almost the color of her dress!)

  27. Janice says:

I jumped over to the Yummy Lunch Ideas page of the site. Oh the possibilities! — I could make more interesting, more colorful, and more nutritious lunches with these clever containers. Leftovers from tonight’s grilled chicken dinner? Toss a half-dozen strips in the container and store overnight to be part of tomorrow’s lunch. Just a little salad leftover? Again, toss it in!
The red cooler is my son’s choice.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  28. Monica says:

I can’t wait to try out this product. I am so tired of wasting sandwich bags everyday for my family of four.

  29. Brenda J says:

I like that they are BPA free. I am considering getting one for my DD for school in Blue, her school color.

  30. April Brown says:

I love these!!! I have 4 Fabulous children, one of them with SEVERE Allergies and I so I am packing multiple lunches EVERYDAY!!! I love the fact that they store easily and without extras! EASY, FAST & FUN!!! I do like the fact that the company also does Fundraising…that seems like something I would be more interested in buying rather than stuff I will never use or that is not healthy! Thanks for the oppotunity to win! Have a GREAT DAY!!!

OH, and my color would be BLUE!!!

  31. Jennifer Armstrong says:

I love this system. I am thinking about getting at least 1 if I don’t win one. I may end up getting two. This would make it easy to pack my entire families lunches the night before. I love that they are eco friendly as we try to be as green as we can. I love the olive green!

  32. tanya says:

love that it’s eco friendly and ONE lid–easy to use! I’d pick the green one :)

  33. Jenny says:

I love many things about the lunch kits. 1) I love that they are eco friendly and don’t contain BPA. 2) I love how it keeps everything separate, I have a picky eater who doesn’t like her food to touch. 3) I love that the kits are cost effective!! Even if I am not lucky enough to win one, I know that I can at least afford to buy one!! And on that note, I won’t be mad if one of my daughters accidentally throws away one of the pieces!! Since I have 3 girls, i think the purple would fit well into our family!! Crossing my fingers!!

  34. Diane Wheless says:

I have a very “discriminate” eater in my 17yo daughter. She is currently completing homeschool high school and preparing to graduate from Cosmetology at the local community college in December. Getting her to eat properly with all her activities has been a challenge as she has little time to prepare foods and is very VERY finicky! I feel that this EasyLunchBox system would greatly improve my chances of getting her to eat nutritious foods that are pleasing to her palate. She cannot stand the idea of her food “touching” each other, and the compartments would enable me to ensure this would not happen. As of me, I particularly like the idea that they are reusable and BPA-free. As a single parent of 4 kids, I struggle with “being green” and costs involved in that endeavor. I think this system would be a wonderful solution to my problem of how to prepare and pack nutritious meals for my kids (and for myself). I would really love to win the purple bag as that is my 17yo daughter’s favorite color. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this give-away!

  35. Tammy says:

I love the fact that they are dishwasher and microwave safe…as well as being eco-friendly. So much goes into our landfills just from lunches that it makes sense to purchase a product like this…it is great for teaching kids and adults alike about saving our planet, and our future. I would want the black one if I win. :)

  36. Lori Green says:

I love the organization of these. It makes it easier for me to picture what can go in a lunch box. I get very tired of trying to think of something different or healthier. I like the red one for our school colors.

  37. These are so cool. As I was perusing their site I loved the tip about placing wax paper over the compartment you might have yogurt in to keep it from seeping through. And I love that they are eco friendly!
Very neat products and great lunch ideas!

  38. Sherry says:

I love that it’s green, it’s all inclusive (no hunting down lids), and that I can do a weeks worth at a time – cuts down on rework too!

  39. Tonya says:

I have recently been eyeing the different reusable lunch system choices. The Easy LunchBox System appeals to me for a few reasons. First, it seems sensible to have only a one unit container – easy to keep track of for moms and kids alike. No more lost little containers! And this also makes cleaning much simpler. My second favorite thing about this lunch system is the price. So much more reasonable than some others I’ve seen. This looks great for lunch on the go anytime for a meal or snack time. Think of the possibilities – the zoo, a long car trip, a wait at the doctor’s office, a picnic in the backyard! And, lastly (for now), I appreciate the variety of color choices, and I think my first choice would be the green.

  40. Sara Bufkin says:

I love the video of your “assembly line” of lunch boxes. This shows me that your product can make the morning rush of packing lunches into a quick and easy task to be completed in no time at all! Thank you so much!

I love the different colors that are available, but I think blue is my favorite!

A big thank you to Christine Steendahl for introducing the product to my family!

  41. Jhona O. says:

My husband is a soldier and I pack his lunch every day so that we can save money and he can eat healthy. We homeschool our kiddos so I wouldn’t use this for a school lunch necessarily. I love that this system helps eliminate lunchtime waste. I will definitely be purchasing one of these systems if I don’t happen to be the lucky winner! Thank you for the opportunity and info! I would choose the brown cooler bag(since it would be for my sweet man)! Many blessings!

    Jhona O.

  42. Angel says:

Anything that makes my morning routine quicker and easier gets a big thumbs up from me :). My oldest son is Type 1 Diabetic, so I like the fact that the cooler is roomy enough that he can carry his insulin and supplies with him – everything in one place. Love it!

  43. Shannon says:

We are a family who, like many, are on the road and travelling alot. I like the Easy box lunch because I can pack a special meal for each of my kids and they can eat at their leisure in the car with no fuss of me passing food back and forth. Such a versatile idea for travelling, school and adult lunches.
    The blue looks very fun!

  44. Jen says:

I now see how easy and affordable making lunch can be. I would use this for my husband as well. I love that they are BPA free! As well as dishwasher safe. I would love the maroon (they say its red)one.

  45. Robin says:

I was going to tell how much I would love one of these but I read Melanie’s post and feel she should win this. I was going to use it for taking my daughter which we homeschool on fieldtrips so we didn’t have to buy things at fast food places. I think it would be a great system to have as it will keep everything separate and can be packed the night before. It would also be eco-friendly due to not having to have the baggies that just get thrown away. Again, this sounds like a great product to have and I would LOVE to win this. BUT I still feel Melanie needs it more than I do. Best wishes and prayers go to her and her daughter. Thanks for doing this give-away.

  46. Bobbie says:

I think these are a wonderful idea. I have to pack my husband’s lunch and with all the baggies you have to use, you can use these lunchboxes for a lot less money. I also like that it’s all one container and not looking for lids for other containers. Our children would like these when we take picnics. Thank the Lord for having mothers come up with real useful things. I would like the maroon or black one.

  47. Brandie Yee says:

I love the fact that these are non-toxic and safe… it shows she put a lot of thought into parents concerns about what goes into their kids foods. I’ve started seeing other similar products at the stores but they are overpriced and not as durable, efficient as easy lunch boxes. I love how it’s washable too! I would use it for my husband and I as we don’t have kids but it’s so versatile it doesn’t look “childish” at all. I’d love the black. Thanks for sharing this product with us! :-)

  48. Gina says:

I absolutely love this lunch box! I love that face that is has no BPA, phthalates, lead, vinyl, or PVC and it’s safe for dishwasher, freezer, and microwave. I go out of my way to buy product that do not contain these materials and they are offer very overpriced. What a great deal! I love all the colors – especially the dark red. I also loved the lunch suggestions that were given on the website. I love that these would cut-down on waste from sandwich and snack bags – and that my kids lunches would be protected in a stury and sectioned case(so the crackers and cookies wouldn’t get crushed into crumbs, and the applesauce or dip wouldn’t run into the other food). I also like that it’s a great portion-control tool for kids AND adults! What a fantastic idea!

  49. Tina says:

I love that you can fit three of them into a cooler bag (great for picnics in the park which we are planning a lot of this fall). Also, I like the eco-friendly aspect to them … always feel guilty throwing away all the single serve packaging from the grocery store. I would love to win the purple one. Thanks so much for the opportunity to win one.

  50. June says:

I would LOVE to win this! I like that there are different colored lids, so each of my (four) kids would get their own color. I do this now with different sandwhich boxes I’ve found with Dora, Spiderman, etc. on them. It’s important in our house that we don’t have mix ups as one of my kids has a food allergy and one of them is just VERY picky!! I pack lunches everywhere we went this summer – the beach, the park, the zoo, etc. It was cheaper and healthier too! And I would love to have the purple lunch box (for my super picky eater, lol)

  51. Rachel says:

What isn’t to LOVE about these lunchboxes?? Eco-friendly materials that support a non-disposable lifestyle. They’re stylish-I love all the colors! They’re easy to use & clean. They’re a great size-my daughter doesn’t complain about being hungry anymore! I bought a “laptop lunch” system used, but it was the biggest pain to use & she had to pack her drink separately. I resold it pretty quick!
My only problem with this lunch box – I only have one for 3 kids! 😉
I also LOVE their website – great ideas & links! And I love supporting companies that give back – their fundraising program is fantastic!

  52. Juli kemp says:

I love this system. I like not having so many different containers to hold everything. My daughter loves the purple.

  53. dara says:

OMG!! These look great. I have 2 school age kids and this system makes the morning lunch packing look easy. I also like that there are less pieces to lose. Definitely worth investing in these for the whole family!!

  54. Lisa says:

Oh my goodness, these look amazing! I love the fact that they are all one(well two I guess) piece. I have such a hard time keeping up with all the little containers and lids. And I am also impressed that there are multiple containers, so that you can pack multiple lunches to keep in the refrigerator.
I am a mom to six wonderful children. This year four of them will be in school all day, and another, my three year old will be at a special needs preschool for half a day. He will need to bring two meals every day. He has many food allergies, so packing his food is a must! He is also failure to thrive and has a gtube where he is fed directly into his stomach. It is great that the lunchbox has extra room in it, perfect space to put his formula for his gtube feeds. This would really make my life alot easier: If I were to win, I would love the aqua bag.

  55. Rachael says:

I would love to have one of these for my daughter. They are so right about the school lunches being unhealthy. It is so hard to try to teach your kids healthy eating habits at home and send them off to school to eat chicken nuggets and pizza! I think this system would make your kids WANT to take their lunch to school. I love that they are vinyl and lead free! What a great idea – great for the environment, your budget and your health! I would definitely pick the purple one for my daughter.

  56. I’m in love!! How much more perfect could this system get? I have two children (daughter – age 12, son – age 10) that will be taking their lunch to school every day. My daughter use to purchase her lunch from the ala carte in the cafeteria, but was choosing to eat the least healthiest items available (not to mention the cost of it all) so she now takes her lunch every day. I love the simplicity of this product and how it’s such a perfect size to fit a nice, healthy lunch in for my children. Not to mention that they are following the eco-friendly trend that we are trying to follow in our home. I also run a home daycare so the fact that the lunch boxes nest together so nicely is great because they won’t take up much of my already limited kitchen space!

I also want to add that I LOVE that has a great collection of yummy lunch ideas. I feel like I send my kids with the same thing for lunch everyday so I am excited about mixing things up for them!

I hope to get picked as a winner (the Olive carrying bag rocks!), but will probably purchase them even if I’m not!

  57. Monica says:

I can’t wait to start sending more healthy foods to school. My kids were always complaining something got mushed or leaked. Now with this they can’t complain. Black would be great. thank you.

  58. Kelli Van Doren says:

This looks really great. My daughter is eating wheat and dairy free so isn’t able to buy school lunches. This looks really helpful to making healthy meals for her to eat at school. The blue color is especially fun.

  59. I love these. They are affordable and cute! The other appeal to me (am I showing my laziness?) is that there is 4 sets so that you can have at least ONE clean and ready to go each day. Yeah!!

I’d love to be the winner. GO Colleen! :-)

  60. Susan says:

Love this, I have been using divided containers for years with my kids but I was only able to find round ones. There are very few round lunch boxes that they will fit in. This is a great solution.

Love all the colors dbut red works well for mboth boys and girls.

  61. Wendianne says:

I have bento boxes for my 4 kids. So many parts – I would go nuts finding them all. Two kids lost parts at school. or somewhere. LOVE that the easy lunch boxes have minimal parts, are Earth friendly, and no BPA! I am so getting these!

  62. Rachel says:

Wow! I love this product! I have twins starting school this year and I love how it’s waste free, reasonably priced, and can hold a whole assortment of yummy foods for their lunch. I love the concept of sitting the boxes exactly in the bag so the lids don’t come off, but aren’t so hard to get off kids can’t do it themselves. I love the compartments so that *I* can remember to pack a full lunch with sides, and I love how you include multiple containers so I can leave it in the fridge ready to go, or frozen food in the freezer ready to microwave and send to school.

I would choose the blue one :)

  63. Kristen says:

I’ve been looking for something like this for a long time. I’m trying to make my house a no BPA zone! All the kids lunchboxes are so small and it is hard to fit the plastic containers in them. This looks like the perfect solution. I especially like that I can get the container in the box plus an extra drink, snack and ice pack.

  64. Mary says:

Ooooh, I LOVE this idea!!! I love the fact there are four in a package and they are a big help to the environment. I also really like the fact they are BPA free. If I were to win, I would love the black or maroon cooler. OOOOH so exciting!!!

  65. Jana says:

These are great! I love that the lid separates the compartments completely! My fav color is the dark red.

  66. KimL says:

I absolutely love this site and really like the great lunch ideas. We like the purple cooler! Thanks for the opportunity to win these! :-)

  67. Paula says:

This system is wonderful. I love that it is eco-friendly and makes it so easy to pack a nutrituous lunch that doesn’t hit you with inflated costs. All of the colors are great and I would love to win one!

  68. Cara says:

I love this idea! I have one daughter that takes her lunch to school everyday and my oldest who we just found out can’t have dairy or wheat (nice) is now taking her lunch too. I loved the lunch ideas on their site and of course the bright blue or purple would be a favorite over here! I also e-mailed my friends on the PTA about the great fundraiser ideas they have. Thanks for this great lunch tip! I ♥ it!

  69. Teresa says:

This would be a great system for both kids and grownups! Colorful for the kids and functional for the adults!

  70. Kate says:

Red for me. I have been messing around with lunches for years. I don’t like my kids eating the high processed school lunches but this year I will be working more and the process has got to get streamlined. I am really sick of not being able to find all the containers and lids needed to get the job done. One container per kid and it fits in the dishwasher. Yippee!

  71. Tracy says:

Oh wow! I have seen these in the past. I called Kelly at Easylunchboxes and asked about cooler inserts and space. She was so helpful. I also inquired if I could come pick up since they are local. However, not an option. Won’t deter me from purchasing. I have 2 kids and they each take a lunch to school. One is GFCFSF so packing is a pain. The other is icky picky. I am also excited to get rid of all those ziploc bags!!! I may buy one for myself!!! Tracy

  72. Wow! I love that this is a system and I don’t have to worry about if the containers will fit in a lunch bag! I love that they are BPA and lead free! I think it is perfect for us as a family on the go. We homeschool but when we are out and about I like to have healthy snacks with us so we don’t have to stop somewhere and grab something. These are PERFECT!

    Thanks for sharing!

  73. Heather says:

This will make packing lunches for my kiddo and ourselves so much easier. Less more baggies! No more multiple containers and trying to make them fit. I LOVE all the links and have found some GREAT lunch ideas! Some I’d have never thought of.

Packing lunches…it doesn’t have to be hard!

  74. Heather says:

OOps..I forgot an important peice of info…I like the red one!

This will make packing lunches for my kiddo and ourselves so much easier. Less more baggies! No more multiple containers and trying to make them fit. I LOVE all the links and have found some GREAT lunch ideas! Some I’d have never thought of.

    BPA free! NICE!

Packing lunches…it doesn’t have to be hard!

  75. Lucy says:

The lunch box sounds perfect. Like the design meant to be eco-friendly and easy to clean. I will consider buying one for my son if the price could go lower…But if I can get them for free, that is even better:))). Will recommmend friends to buy this one.

I prefer the green one, but the red one looks good too.

  76. Debby says:

My grandson is coming to live with me and will be in second grade! It’s like being a “mom” again….and lunches again! Things have changed since I was a mom and these containers look fantastic and what a great site for ideas on how to pack a nutritious lunch. I think my grandson would love a red one.

  77. Blair says:

I love this product because it is helpful and very organizing. It makes my daughters lunch more fun and organized.

If I had pick a color it would have to be the purple!!

  78. Lynnette Dever says:

My kids have been taking their lunches to school forever! (School lunches were never enough food) They are all athletes. Lunch sacks always ended with squished sandwiches and the extras like salsa or dips never fit into containers I could find or the lids never stayed on. Looks like an amazing answer to a problem. My 14 year old son is the only one left at home now but I know he would use it if it was in black. thanks for the info.

  79. Hether says:

These lunch boxes look great! I love the idea of only having 1 container to hold everything with a leak proof lid awsome. My 6 year old son is kind of messy and always comes home with a sticky lunch box filled with empty containers. The colors are bright and fun perfect for my boys!

  80. Sheena says:

I LOVE that you can put 3 containers in the insulated bag. Perfect for a family picnic! I’d probably choose black because my husband (who’s the only one taking lunches right now) is still unsure of the whole look of the reusable stuff. He doesn’t think it’s cool enough. 😀

  81. Musheera says:

What I love about this system is that it opens up a world of ideas!!
Now I can give my children a balnced lunch that is healthy and Fun!!
They won’t have to take the same old boring sandwiches everyday to school.
I can pack leftovers from last nights dinner.
I love the green colored bag.
Thanks for the giving me the chance to participate

  82. Amy Ulibarri says:

I love packing my kids lunches, but haven’t found nice containers before that are easy to use (both parent and child!) and safe. These look perfect! I love that the bags are big enough for not only the container, but extra’s as well. I have always had problems finding nice lunchboxes that will actually hold enough food/drinks. May be taking back the ones I just bought for the kids and getting these ones!

  83. ginger says:

    Hi ,

Thanks for introducing us to this wonderful lunch system. I have been looking for something like these for a long time. I used to feel bad and guilty to see how much of waste a packing a single lunch can generate when we use all prepackaged snacks .
Now its good to see such green solution. And also as a busy mom of two I dont have to rummage my box drawer for multiple boxes and lids . just one box and lid will take care of a single lunch.

I also like that its so much easier to wash a single box instead of multible boxes filling up the sink. If I win I would like to have the bright blue color .

  84. Shelley says:

These are great! I bought so many plastic containers last year for my son’s lunch box, but the lid-matching is a big problem on a daily basis. We would love to win the blue one. If not, I will definitely be buying a set of containers. I measured and they’ll fit his LL Bean lunchbox perfectly.

  85. Pam Martin says:

I love the fact that I can put it in one container with one lid. Always seem to have 100 lids that don’t match the one container I can find. I love the blue color.

  86. Melissa says:

I love these little lunch boxes. Each separate compartment that is tightly sealed is perfect different foods that you don’t want combined. It’s really not just for kids, but for everyone. I think red & green are my favorite ones.

  87. Brandi says:

We homeschool our children, But I would so be interested in these to prepack for our daily lunches. It would be great to not cook in the middle of the school day. It would save me so much time during the day and we could take them outside. I love that they are Eco-friendly but also safe. I hate to by plastic at the stores (Made in China) because you have no idea what chemicals you are putting into you child’s body. These look wonderful. The Green is my Favorite. Also I would love to send my DH to work with these. We are always trying to fit a decent size lunch into his box with all kinds of awkward containers.

  88. sandy says:

I wish I had know about these years ago! Not only will my kids love them, so will my husband! I loved all the lunch ideas the website had also! Thanks for posting this! I hope I win!

  89. Stephenie F says:

Great idea, solution and motivator to go green.

  90. PATRICIA says:

  91. Gloria says:

I love the system for my little 4 year old. He will not eat preschool lunches so we have to pack his lunch every day. The system is lightweight and still allows room for his sippy or milk thermos. I would also put in a small ice pack to keep items cool. I am so glad that it is FDA approved and NO BPA otherwise I would not be interested. It also helps that it can be tossed into the dishwasher for cleaning. I would pick the color blue.

  92. Alice says:

I plan on starting “fresh” this year with my two children. I want to make an effort to pack healthy lunches for both of them and this is exactly what I need to start the process. My son would love black!

  93. tammy says:

Wow, I love their products and their website. What great ideas lunches in the recipe section! I’m impressed that they put nutrition information with them! That is very helpful. And the pictures are great cuz I am always googling for different ideas for my girls lunches.
I would choose purple for my youngest daughter. Thanks!

  94. Dawn DeGroot says:

I love the fact I don’t have to buy a bunch of baggies. I love how the containers are dishwasher safe and I can wash the bag in the washer on the delicate cycle! The other thing is that it comes in more than just 2 colors for those of us with more than 2 kids! We love all the colors here.

  95. Angi says:

This is awesome! We love love love bento boxes and with four monkeys, that gets EXPENSIVE!! This is perfect for us! They each have their own color lid, no fighting over which is which. With the compartments they can even pack their OWN!!! These would be so awesome for road trips as well, they would easily stack in their own cooler bag or inside our family cooler. These ROCK!

  96. Erin D says:

I love that they are FDA-approved, vinyl free and DISHWAHER SAFE! I hate doing dishes by hand.

If I won I’d choose the basic black.

  97. kelly says:

OMG these are fantastic! I am going to buy a couple for my kids. I pak a lunch for them everyday and this will make it so much easier! I love the olive colored one and the dark red. The fact that they are BPA free and microwaveable and dishwasher safe is the best!

  98. Sheryl says:

I love that they are made of good plastic so I won’t have to worry about leaching. I favor the green case. Thank you!

  99. Jan says:

I love that you can stack everything inside. What a great idea!

  100. I like to prep my lunches for the week on Sunday evening – using the colored container lids, I can set up lunches for each day & if I know I want to eat a certain thing on a certain day, I can code it. Then it’s just a matter of pulling it out of the fridge on that day.

Also, several of us share a refrigerator at work. This system would let me bring 4 meals to work & leave them in the fridge – unique design lets others know it’s not their lunch. Love it!

  101. Susan says:

I love these how simple these would be for my four kiddos. I love that they are good for the environment and I can plan ahead and have them prepared so I’m not trying to do it all in the morning before school. Love thier site and the fun ideas for lunches sometimes it’s nice to think outside the box. I like the dark red. Thanks for your review it was helpful.

  102. Kara Maynard says:

My girlfriend has been talking about bento boxes now to send her preschooler’s lunch in and these are so perfect! My kids are addicted to eating snacky stuff individually so the individual sections gets them to eat all their food with no fight. At home, at school, on the run, they are perfect for packing and going!

  103. Mary Lynn says:

Love this product! I have been looking at some Bento boxes lately to help reduce the time I spend hunting for the lids and bottoms of my lunch containers. ONLY 2 pcs per kid to find when making lunches and dishwasher safe, too. This looks like the perfect solution for my little ones’ lunches. I enjoyed getting some lunch ideas at her site. My kids would love the purple and the green bags!

  104. Karen says:

I like the fact that the containers nest together and stack when full. The website is great and even has lunch ideas. I like the black and purple bags.

  105. Ann Genuth says:

I love the fact that you could pack a salad and keep the dressing seperate without having to have another container. Also that they are vinyl free and safe. I think the Blue one is wonderful! These would make a great way for Hubby to take lunch to work on days I have the car and for my son and I on field trips. These look AWESOME!!!!

  106. KellyA says:

Love that they are re-usable and non-warping.

  107. Barbra says:

I am a professional organizer and my husband is a Kindergarten Teacher. I absolutely love the idea of this system. I have 4 children (ages 6-11) and this would be great for all of them. The solid colors of the coolers and the different container colors would be wonderful for my kiddos.

Dishwasher safe! Reusuable! Quick! Variety of Colors! Simple design for any age level!

Having 4 kiddos is costly enough with school supplies. Winning this would be so helpful on our budget….

  108. Barb says:

I love that I only need one container for each meal instead of three, using baggies that get expensive, allow food to be squished, and add to our landfills, or paying extra for single-serving products. I also like that the bags will hold three of the containers for days when my two kids and I go somewhere so we only have one bag to tote. I would pick the purple one.

  109. K Quinn says:

I like Easy Lunch Boxes period. I’ve been eyeing for a little while now and have plans to get one even if I don’t win. But winning would be nice.
I make up lunches for my husband and daughter (who is homeschooled). They like things nice and compact and I do too. I have various other lunchboxes which have not worked out.
I like the compartments, the icepack and having an organized system for lunches!
I would get green because I love the color!

  110. Darcey says:

These lunch boxes look great. What a great idea and the price isn’t so outrageous either. I love how the compartments are just right for the right amount of food. Would love to win the green one. A neutral color since I am sure my 3 kids would fight over it. Thanks for the chance to win.

  111. Jill Jacobs says:

I love these lunch boxes. The best part is that they are reusable and dishwasher/microwave safe. You can’t find lunch boxes that you can clean anymore. If your child gets food everywhere you just need a new one. I also love that they are BPA free. Our family is trying to go green and cut costs and easy lunch boxes help with both.

    I love the red bag!

  112. Liz says:

I have been looking for a lunch box solution that is BPA free and dishwasher safe AND that my little one can open on her own. Looks like this would meet all those requirements…she would love a purple one!

  113. Stephanie says:

They look very practical. No frills but does the job it needs to do for the kiddos.

  114. Lois Doyle says:

These are great – even for “big” kids! Sending two off to college this year and another one of my kiddos who begins her teaching career (on a budget of course because of the economy) – these will be great for all of them! Warding off the “Freshman 15″ with my college bound kids & lunch for my new “teacher on the go” these are perfect gifts. Think I’ll add one for my hubby and his PB & J that he still takes to work after all these years!!!
Love that they are safe, mircrowave and dishwasher safe – that’s an added bonus! I think it will be fun to personalize them with tags as well-thanks for sharing those ideas!
My favorite one – has to be the purple one! 😀
    Have a great day!

  115. Julie says:

I love that you can just have one box and have plenty of room for other things like apples or more yogurts, or you can fit another container in the bag too.
My son is in pre-school and he has to take lunch and 2 snacks with him. I recently bought him a new bag which is lead-, BPA-, vinyl- and phthalates-free, but I have trouble every day squeezing everything in. This system seems so much better. And I love that the web-site has recipe ideas too.

If I won, I’d like the green bag as it is my son’s favorite color.

  116. Tina Shang says:

I learned that the containers are FDA approved. No BPA, phthalates, lead, vinyl, or PVC which is the MOST important factor in choosing containers for our food. I love the fun color selections and that these were created by a mom just like us. My sons would love the black bag.

  117. Peggy B says:

These look great! I like the idea of 1) having only one dish and lid to clean instead of three AND 2) not using so many ziploc bags AND 3) not giving into the expensive individually packaged foods temptation! Also, when I make lunches for my three kids the night before and put them in the fridge I have to sort through 15 or so containers to get all of the right ones in each lunch box- with this system it would just be three containers! Their lunch ideas are helpful too- I get stuck in a rut often and can use fresh ideas.

We like the purple, red and black bags! Thanks for showing us this product and website.

  118. sandy beltran says:

As a busy single mom of 3 school aged kids, it was so easy to just send them off with money for lunch. I felt guilty all year long, knowing that was not the healthiest way to go.

I then started out sending them with home made lunch but the plastic baggies, the unmatched lids/containers made it more inconvenient that I gave up that as well.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!!!!!!! I would LOVE to get the set…….in fact I might even get 2……One for ME!!!!!!!!

    Have a terrifice day!

  119. Amanda H. says:

I learned that you can wash them in the dishwasher … a HUGE plus for large families. I love that they are strong and durable like Tupperware, which says a lot.

If I had to choose a color, I’d probably go with … GREEN! (or maybe red … or maybe black. I like ’em all to be honest!)

  120. Sharon Millwood says:

Time to toss out the dizzying array of mismatched plastic tops and bottoms falling out of the cabinet! I love that these have compartments and one top along with the nice bag designed so that they will fit correctly. Being able to put in the dishwasher and microwave is a nice plus! All the colors of the bags are delightful, and I would probably select the green as my favorite.

  121. Kim Waggoner says:

I was diagnosed with Lymphoma this year. Even though I already ate very healthy, I realized my 5 kids were not receiving healthy meals through the school system. I have been agonizing over how to send quick, healthy meals with them, especially at the junior high/high school level. This system looks like it would do the trick. I loved the photos on the website of all the meal options! I would love any of the colors (again 5 kids :)).

  122. Holly says:

I love this idea! My son always complains about his squashed sandwich and fruit. Now I can pack it all and not worry! Thank you!!

    We love the green one!

  123. kimberly eskew says:

I like the fact that the containers are compartmentalized and dishwasher friendly. These are huge pluses for a family on the go.

If i had to choose a color it would probably be the blue or the black. Any color would be fabulous to have because of the practicality.

Thanks for the chance to win this item.

  124. Nicole says:

I love that these are dishwasher friendly and I will not have to use plastic bags any more! What a great way to save money and feed my children a well-balanced lunch. We love the purple bag. It is such a pretty shade.

  125. Cathy says:

Cool colors – I’m partial to the Green – the containers look like some I got from ZipLoc & they are incredible. Like the idea of a bag just the right size for the containers to fit it.

  126. I’ve been wanting to try one of these – especially since my oldest starts first grade this year! But, my hubby’s been laid off so no extra cash floatin’ around. LOL

I love the portion control help and my girl would love the purple carrier!

  127. Donna B. says:

I like the fact that the containers nest inside each other,
but I love the fact that all the materials used in the containers and bags are food and child safe, and contain NO Lead, Vinyl, PVC, Phthalates, or Bisphenol A (BPA).
The containers are FDA-approved for microwave use and are made with a plastic that will not leach harmful chemicals when heated or cooled.

I would choose the black lunch bag.

  128. kristin says:

love this product! All the colors are fun espically the green and I love that they are BPA free.

  129. Danielle says:

This is FANTASTIC! No more ziploc bags or prepackaged junk or a peanut butter and jelly squish. Just Fantastic.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

  130. Lynda says:

Love the ease of packing healthy meals for my kids these containers- without all those separate containers and lids to keep track of and clean up afterward. Pack it and they’re ready- gotta like that! And absolutely purple for the bag! (Thanks for the information on these and for the chance to win!!)

  131. susanne says:

I love that these are dishwasher safe and BPA free! We homeschool but that doesn’t mean we don’t pack lunches often for the ball field or the park! My husband has been trying to pack his lunch lately too which is WONDERFUL! I would probably pick the purple bag — my kids’ teams main color!!!!

Thanks for a chance at a fun new product!

  132. Maureen says:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE that there is NO BPA, Lead, PVC or Pthalates in this set. It is a lunch box that I would be proud to use for my three little ones and my husband’s lunch.

    • Maureen says:

P.S. I would pick Aqua for the kids if I won and I would purchase the Olive (manly color) for my husband’s lunch box.

  133. Kristi says:

I love the cute little compartments that are all ready-made! It’s also nice that there is more room in the box for additional items on top. What a great idea! My son would like the blue, I’m sure. Thanks for passing along info on this item!

  134. sheilah says:

these look wonderful! I love all the colors & I think my kids would actually like using them.

  135. Ashley L says:

I love that they have no chemicals/BPA and all that. I’d feel safer sending one for my daughter.

I’d pick the Purple Cooler Bag.

  136. PATRICIA says:

Hi I would love to have one of these systems. This not only would be great for
lunch but also great for after school on the go families. hOW NICE I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOMETHING LIKE THIS FOR YEARS!!
    Thanks for sharing

  137. Leslie says:

Wow! These look great. I love the ideas page. I also like that she is willing to do fundraisers. What a great idea! I would love a bag in aqua (or really any of the colors).

    Thanks for sharing!

  138. Christy says:

I love these boxes! My oldest has them and it makes for a convient and easy lunch for her. I love that I can make a week of lunches and don’t have to worry about it for a week. Now that my ‘baby’ is starting school I would love a set for her too! These are just so much easier than other lunchbox styles and makes for easier cleanup too! We love purple!

  139. Chris says:

    Great for portion control!!!

  140. Lorina says:

I love that they contain No BPA, phthalates, lead, vinyl, or PVC!
    I would choose purple!

  141. Teresa B says:

I like that we wouldn’t be using baggies and that there seems to be plenty of room for lots of food (have a boy who never seems full). We would like the red one if we won.

  142. Sandy Sitzman says:

Love the idea and love that they are stackable- 3 lunch bags take a lot of space in the fridge! I can even make a few in advance! :-) Thanks for the lunch ideas on the site too! Great easy and colorful ideas!

  143. Rosellen Goodwin says:

Oh My Gosh! These are just what I’ve been looking for! My son needs to eat healthier and lose a bit of weight, and these would be perfect for packing his lunches. He can fill up the large compartment with a salad, put yogurt and crackers in the small ones, and I don’t have to worry about him packing too large of portions. Plus the bag will still have room for an ice pack & water bottle. (Refillable, of course!) And since it’s dishwasher safe, no extra dishes to wash by hand! Love the aqua!

  144. Linda McClung says:

I learned that the containers are FDA approved. No BPA, phthalates, lead, vinyl, or PVC. Safe for dishwasher, freezer, and microwave. That is something that concerns me these days. Not only am I trying to become more “green” by not using bagies for snacks and sandwiches, but also am trying to cut back on expenses.

I am very interested in this system as I have 3 children who regularly pack their lunches for school and the different size containers for different items are such a hassel!! And I LOVE the fact that these are BPA free as I have been trying to get away from plastic but it’s so hard to do with children.

  146. i love that someone has finally come up with containers that can fit into the lunchbox…versital sizes and shapes that support my children’s desire to have something other than a sandwich….thanks for pointing it out.

  147. Keri says:

BPA-free is great! Like the individual sections. No waste. Love that my uprising kidnergartener would be able to open with no trouble, yet the lid would stay secure. Can just pop in dishwasher to wash and the extra room would be nice in the cooler. Sounds like a great product for kids – and adults as well. Thanks for the link and review. I like black or purple

  148. Mary H says:

I love this whole thing, my kids like to take a lunch and have a snack to go in the truck. I really love the fact that they are BPA free, I have been slowly replacng PA free products. I love the dark purple container.

  149. Monica says:

I love that they are great for the environment. That they are cute design, and kid friendly. That they stack nicely so you can store them easily. I would love the purple or olive green lunch bag. Great product!

  150. Debbie Fick says:

I like that the are free of the nasty stuff in a lot of plastics and purple is great!

  151. Cathy says:

I love that they are safe and easy to use. The purple one is my favorite.

  152. Shari says:

I have been using the bento-style box from Laptop Lunches for a couple years and really enjoyed teaching my son the importance of being eco-conscious by not using wasteful baggies. However, his box and carrying bag look like they have been through a war(!!!), and I am ready for a new one. However, the system on is about 1/2 the price of the one I previously used (so I really like that it would save me money!) Also, this will continue to allow my son to take healthy, homemade lunches to school and I won’t have 4 different containers to wash out every night which is my current lunchbox system) so that is a second thing I like about these Easy Lunchboxes, we can use a different container and lid every day! Finally the Easy Lunchboxes are really, fun, bright colors (I like the bright blue and the green one best), whereas the Laptop Lunchbox we have is dark navy, as is is the carrying bag. Ok, so technically that’s 3 reasons lol, can you tell how excited I am about this?

  153. Kathy says:

I think these are great! They would be very useful to my 2 precious grandkids that take their lunches to school. I like the idea of the sandwiches not getting mashed; having the lunch in 1 container; and the easiness of their lunch preparation. Red would be the color choice.

  154. Sabrina says:

I learned that they don’t have the chemicals that many plastics have, and I love that they are one piece solutions. I’d pick the green bag!

  155. Marie says:

I am finally back to work after a long lay=off. Money is tight and I am trying to eat healthier, what a perfect way to pack a lunch. Red would be the color for me!

  156. Karen says:

These are great! We have always home-schooled until now. This will be the first year my children will be going to school. These lunch boxes look like the perfect solution for packing healthy meals, and I love that they can go in the microwave and dishwasher. I would love to have the purple bag!

  157. Jennifer says:

I like that they are safe and only 2 pieces. I like the purple one.

  158. M Leverette says:

I like that the products are BPA free. I like the purple carrying bag.

  159. I really like that they are dishwasher save and especially love that they are BPA-free! I’ve been looking for containers like these to make my own Lunchables because the store bought Lunchable prices are such a poor value.

  160. Kathy says:

We are a “raw” family and I am always looking for ways to pack without smashing our food, these look PERFECT! My daughter is really looking forward to packing her own lunches this year too. No more guacamole on my grapes or salad dressing…Thanks for sharing this product. I would definitely order PURPLE!

  161. Susan Budd says:

Oh, I LOVE these! 😉

  162. Kristin says:

These lunch boxes are the greatest. I learned about them earlier this summer on Diaperswappers and bought two (one for each of my girls). We’ve only used them a few times this summer on road trips, but they are great. They hold a full meal, snack, water bottle and ice pack. I’m sure if I tried to consolidate my items I could fit a thermos in there in addition to the other stuff. This is such an improvement over last year’s lunch box with several different containers and a busted zipper from trying to cram everything in. If I were lucky enough to win, I’d like a black lunch box for my son. Thanks so much for reviewing these and getting the word out!

  163. Jen Morr says:

I love these lunch boxes! I especially appreciate the fact that they are made with FDA approved materials, and are BPA and phthalate free. That is very important to me! I also love that the cooler fits the container, but it also has room for drinks, yogurt and fruit. The space is amazing!

  164. Ami says:

I just read through the FAQ over there and saw tips for removing odor from the lunch bag – leave a slice of bread soaked in vinegar in the bag overnight… I’ll be using that on my lunch bag soon! I already do pack ‘bento’ style lunches for my son, starting kindergarten this year, and he would love the dark red as it would match his new backpack. :)

  165. Beth Jesperson says:

I love the fact that these containers are safe for the freezer, dishwasher and the microwave. One lid and three compartments to the container that fits in the lunch bag makes this a wonderful lunch system. Beautiful Blue would be the bag for our house.

  166. Leslie Knowles says:

I have a child with a special diet and we have to take food EVERYWHERE we go. Up until now, we have used regular lunchboxes, which just don’t do well for extended travel, or a day’s worth of food, which is often the case.

I like the reusable BPA AND the divided sections. Having something that will actually FIT in the coolers would be great too.

I’d like a black one if I were to win.

  167. Kelly G. says:

I love that these are safe and eco-friendly. The great thing is you get 4 for a great price (one for each in my family). I would pick a light blue cooler bag. This would be perfect for my daughter who will be starting kindergarten in the fall. She will be there all day so this would leave her with only one thing to open and close and remember to bring home! I definitely need to bookmark the website!

  168. Jennifer babu says:

I like that they look to be the perfect size for an adult or a child. So if it is a day my son wants to eat at school I could borrow it and make a meal for me with only one container instead of 3-4 different containers. Since my husband does dishes, I love that it would be

    • Jennifer babu says:

As I was saying, since my husband does dishes I love the idea of having less containers. The testimony from the diabetic was great too. Personally, I think the blue or aqua color rock and would be the best color.

  169. Janell Irvin says:

What an awesome ideea! My son won’t hardly eat a sandwich so these would be great for putting things together from leftovers the night before rather than packing up 3 or 4 smaller containers it will all be together in one place for quick lunch packing the next day! Not to mention the time I will be saving now that we have 2 boys in activities and practice or games 4 nights a week! Then it’s eco friendly and pocketbook friendly since I won’t be buying a box of sandwich bags every 2 weeks! I’d like blue if I’m chosen!

  170. Yuki says:

The Easy Lunchboxes look great. It is wonderful that they are BPA-free and environmentally friendly. I have been using re-usable sandwich and snack bags when packing lunches for my 3 girls and husband but they are a hassle to clean and the contents routinely get crushed. The Easy lunchboxes system would work so much better. No smashed sandwiches and you can pack a variety if items in one container. Sweet! It would also make lunch prep a breeze. I mean you could pack it the night before and just stack them up in the fridge (space friendly) then load them into the cooler bags in the morning. No more getting up extra early or rushing around in the morning trying to assemble it all before everyone has to be out the door. I would LOVE to have this system at my house. It would give me back my sanity. :)

  171. NannyMonica says:

I am a dedicated Tupperware user, and I sell it, too. BUT, I would use these! Easy to pack, wash, store/stack…. cheaper (blush) than my Tupperware, and they will fit the lunchbox I (and lil guy) already own!
I like using reusable containers for several reasons, less waste is just one. I can also see what lil guy is eating/rejecting, how his appetite is….. For example, I know he will not eat an entire container of pre-packed yogurt, so I scoop some into a small container (about 1/4 cup size) for him. Less waste, the big containers are cheaper in the long run, and we toss less out. (The big containers by the way get put in our sand-toy stash, when they break we just roll them over to the recycle bin).

  172. Jenna Strawn says:

I’ve bought some similar (but not as nice) containers that are divided like these for my husband for his lunches. They work great. I think it’s great that this system has BPA free containers and I bet the kids love them! I like the purple bag. :)

  173. stacey says:

I love that the lids seal the individual sections so there is not leaking…no one likes a soggy sandwich. I really liked the new lunch ideas maybe my highschooler will even enjoy some of these. I would pick the green cooler.

  174. Tammy says:

I love that it goes in the dishwasher and the microwave!! What a great idea, I have been looking for a bento style lunchbox for my son that is reasonably priced! I would love the blue one

  175. Kyna says:

I like how it has a top that snaps on the container. Food stays in it’s place. I also like how it’s BPA free. Very nice! :)

  176. Dawn W says:

I learned that the plastic in the containers are BPA free. That’s important to me and my family. I also like the fact that the lids seal each compartment of the container. I like to portion our leftovers for lunch the next day. Great idea! I would order the purple one. :-)

  177. Debbie says:

I LOVE that the plastic is BAP free, and the price for 4 containers is awesome! What a GREAT system! I really like the dark red cooler bag. These are phenomenol!

  178. Dawn says:

I like that the lids come off easily for the little ones. Sometimes I struggle with getting the lids off of some products.
I really like that they will do fundraising. Having usable options for fundraising is healthier and wise financially for all families who want to support their school. Red is my first choice of color but I like the blue also.

  179. Easy Lunchboxes look awesome! I like that they are free of BPA, PVC, phthalates, lead and vinyl. I love that they are also dishwasher safe, easy to open, yet secure for liquids. I am happy to see they come in a solid color. I like that we would be reducing product waste and food waste. Now, I could pack healthier lunches more easily and save on my grocery expenses. I would love to give one to my son as he starts Kindergarten. He likes blue and red.

  180. Lisa says:

I’d love the opportunity to compare these with the durability of the Ziplock containers. I like the idea of a container for several reasons. One it can serve as the “plate” for your child’s lunch rather that several ziploc baggies and food on the dirty table. Two its a greener solution. Three portion control.

  181. Kristen says:

I learned that they are microwave safe. I like that they have different color lids to keep track of whose is whose. I would choose deep red.

  182. Meredith says:

I had no idea…Remove odors from a lunch box by placing inside a slice of bread that has been soaked in white distilled vinegar. Leave overnight.

I would have to pick the green bag! Thanks for a great giveaway!

  183. Kristal says:

I have spent hours online looking for the perfect lunchbox system for my kids. I like concept of the Laptop Lunchboxes, but they are very pricey and seem large and clunky. My dd will not have a locker and will carry all of her stuff around all day. She needs a light weight, durable lunch solution. I think this is it!! Her favorite color would definitely be the black. Thank you so much for finding this great product and bringing to our attention!

  184. Daniella says:

I love that it uses safe plastic for the containers. I also like that you can fit multiple containers in one cooler, which makes packing a picnic easier when out for the day. Purple would be my choice!

  185. Lana Howell says:

I like the idea of one lid that fits for all three compartments, and no more zipper bags to use all the time. I would choose the aqua color bag.

  186. Kelly says:

It is great to see a convenient reusable lunchbox system that is free of the gnasty lunchbox chemicals! I’d pick the red.

  187. Cathy says:

I LOVE this system! My daughter really learned about being ‘green’ in her kindergarten class and we already use as much waste-free material as possible for lunch, but things get smashed. It’s great that it has a lid for each compartment, that it’s dishwasher safe, and there are 4 trays included and such great colors to choose from! I have 3 kids to prep a lunch for each day and sometimes myself. This would definetely make the ‘lunch rush’ more palatable 😉 We would probably get the purple or aqua one.

  188. Cindy D says:

Oh MY! We sure do need one of these. After last year of my kids bringing lunch and realizing that they were not eating healthy, I am going to try and send their lunches this year. This would help so much!

    Cindy D

  189. tammy b says:

i’d be interested in trying these….my 3 girls each have a ‘laptop’ type lunch system which i like because of the waste, bpa, & lead free aspect. however, it does have it’s drawbacks; i like that these containers are also safe but there are only 2 components, a bottom and a top! green would be my choice :)

  190. Kate King says:

I love how they are only 2 pieces and are made to fit inside the lunch bags nicely. Usually I am trying to put all kinds of weird shapes and sizes in their reusable lunch bags and struggling to zip it, I’d pick the turquoise bag if I won. thanks for the chance.

  191. Robin Sansone says:

I currently have the Laptop Lunchbox system and it has worked well but could stand to be replaced. The easy lunchbox system seems to be a better concept – a little less expensive, dishwasher safe and all one container. I like that you can pack everything up the night before and put in the fridge until you are ready in the morning. This will definitely save me some time for my kids’ lunch as well as my own. Great idea – now if someone could just go to the grocery for me. :) I love the red and blue!

  192. Lisa says:

Looks like a wonderful tool! Just the fact that I wouldn’t have to find 3 or 4 different lids to fit my containers and then become an engineer in how to stack those said containers in the lunchbox would be refreshing. Most times lunch is just put in baggies and thrown into a plastic grocery sack (less stress for Mom) ~ yes, everything is squished beyond recognition and not appetizing! I was very impressed with the reviews on how sturdy the containers are since longevity is a concern for me. Red would be my color of choice, classy and not too flashy. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to ‘win’ one of these time saving Easy Lunch Box Set.

  193. amanda says:

I like the attractive look and it makes it simple to pack lunches the eve before, I would pick aqua

  194. Trish says:

I think these are awesome! They would work well when packing lunches for my 3 and 4 year old vegetarian duo. I would love to have one in a fun color – like the purple (for my girl)..then of course I would also have to buy one in the blue for my son. Thanks for the chance and the info!

  195. Debbie says:

It’s not just kids who need to take a lunch with them sometimes … this would be nice for our guys out on the combine, tractor, or chopper during planting or harvest season. I like the three part lid — I agree that digging through all the “parts” in the cupboard is a waste of time, they get lost, etc.– and baggies can get caught in the wind and blow around the field. Dishwasher safe is a must and big plus. Any color is good for us but I’d pick “green,” for farming and for the ‘green’ idea.

  196. Abigail says:

This lunchbox is a gradeschool teachers dream. I use to teach K5 and know what it’s like to open 2-3 different packages for all the little ones in my class. With a lunchbox like this my son’s teacher will not be needing to assist him because they are easy open containers and he will only have one to open. I also would not worry if his lunch is still in tact or if something has gotten smushed before he got to it. I would like to see my son using the black one when he starts Kindergarten.

  197. Jenn Soper says:

I learned that the containers stack inside themselves when not in use to take up less space… LOVE that they are free of all the bad stuff that usually comes in plastics… BPH and such. I would just love to have a purple one!

  198. Aime says:

Easy Lunch boxes save time! Hope I win!!!

  199. Jennifer says:

I love that the containers are chemical free and would reduce the amount of waste created by daily lunches. The set of four containers would allow multiple days lunches to be made up ahead of time which would be a great timesaver in the morning! I would choose purple since it would discourage my husband from taking “my” lunchbag. Of course, I’d have to buy him a dark color one :)

  200. This is the second year my kids will be in public school. I just paid for their lunches until my daughter decided she wanted to take her own. I have lots of containers and used those ones throughout the year. But I have loved bento lunchboxes for a long time! I love being able to just use one box for more then one food.

I love that they are top and bottom dishwasher safe. Most of what I buy like these always have to be put on the top. I have an older dishwasher and I’m usually cramming it full and putting things wherever – which as left me with a warped container or two! LOL I love these lunchboxes, thanks for the chance to win!

  201. Susan says:

I have heard of these but have been unable to find them. These would be great for anyone going to school or for work ar for family child care providers like me who have to go to all day training on Saturdays. Susan

  202. Heidi says:

Being a mom of 6 kids, I think this is a great idea! Finally another mom put together a product all us other moms have been looking for! I’ve bought many different lunch/sandwich/ snack containers and none of them quite fit in their lunch bags. Plus I always seemed to be missing a lid or bottom somewhere. The coloured lids are a bonus since each of my kids seemed to liked a different colour. Thank you Kelly Lester!

  203. Sarah says:

I get tired of a punch of different plastic containers to take my lunch in daily. I usually give up and end up buying the lunch with cost $$$$. These would help me greatly! Thanks for the giveaway!

  204. I love how they nest inside each other! The black cooler bag would be awesome to have! Thanks! 😉

  205. Lori D in OK says:

I have never seen these before, they are SUPER COOL! I know most people would be using these for their kiddos but I would use them for my hubby to take his lunch to work. What I like the most is the divided sections that won’t allow food to go to another divider. And the fact that there are several containers would work really well for us so I can send him lunch each day and wash them in between etc. We homeschool our 6 children so sending my hubby with lunch helps us financially! I think he would like the Black cooler bag because he works in a Machine Shop and it would just get dirty! What a COOL giveaway!!!!!

  206. Susan says:

I learned that they are dishwasher and microwave safe!
I like that the containers have dividers…

  207. Beth says:

I like that they are BPA-free and the sections are perfect. I would like the green carrying bag.

  208. Tracey says:

These are awesome! Making food fun really does encourage kids to eat a greater variety of foods. I am a homeschooling mom, and even though my kids don’t leave the house for lunch, I would like to pack their lunches in these boxes so they could quickly grab them and save time on lunch prep a few days a week. I read to them while they eat, and less prep time means more reading time! For those times we need to go to music lessons, or have a long day at church, these handy boxes/bags would save us so much on eating out! A little preparation goes a long way. Bravo. (P.S. I love that they are dishwasher safe!)

  209. Marie says:

Just in time for school. Thanks so much for posting. My son picked black and my daughter picked aqua. They are excited for their new lunch boxes!

  210. Brianne says:

I love the idea of these green containers/lunch bags. I am always looking for healthier & more convenient ways to feed my 4 kids. As a homeschool mom who also takes her kids to her part-time job, lunches have often been a headache for me. I would love to have an olive bag for our first purchase and could color coordinate the containers – each child would have a color. The size of the bag, it’s versatility, and the fact that it is BPA (etc.) free has me sold!

  211. Tara Fairchild says:

My son Jared who will start Kindergarten this year, would love the green bag. I love the fact that this system is one container with 3 compartments for storing the food and room in the bag for extra lunch type stuff. Glad it’s also lead and BPA free. Also like the fact you can put a keyring on it with name or other decorations. Thank you to The Menu Mom Christine for reviewing this system and sending me over here.

  212. melanie kurz says:

I love that they have different color lids and I loved all the different lunch ideas that they show. I would love a black cooler bag.

  213. Angel Wolf says:

These are super containers, I love them because you can pack 4 lunches at once thereby cutting down on time! I love the green on best, looks eco friendly :) Being a Bento Box affectionado and watching calories makes these all the more functional besides being cute.

  214. Kristin says:

Wow, I’m sold! I’ve been looking for a system for packing lunches that isn’t wasteful (too many ziplock baggies around here), and this one wins, hands down (I mean, BPA-free and dishwasher-safe? Fuggedaboutit!) It’s the perfect size for my 2nd grader, too — plus she can tell everyone she’s saving the planet! Thanks for the giveaway (oh, and since there’s no pink carrying case, we’d love a purple one, if we win… :0)

  215. Kandy says:

I LOVE this idea! When my son packs his lunch he usually eats hardly anything as it is in so many containers or baggies. It takes too much time. With this he would open one lid and have it all! I also like that there is extra room for his drink ice block and maybe a treat. I think this is fantasic as well as great for the invironment. I definately want to get some of these lunch boxes! If I win my son likes the blue bag best. Thanks so much for a perfect lunchbox!

  216. Leslie says:

I would love the black case. I have twin teenage girls who would love to carry this to school. The fact that it is BPA free is a bonus for me too!

  217. Karen says:

This system is awesome! I love that it is BPA free and dishwasher safe is what we need. I would love to win the purple one for my baby who is starting kindergarten this year! Thank you!

  218. Sarah says:

I love that a little preschool aged kid doesn’t have a problem opening this! I love the aqua bag!

  219. Zan says:

Wow…Love all the lunch ideas on this sight…the pictures of everything in the easy boxes was really cool.

Love how quick and easy it looks to pack several lunches with 5 kids that means a lot.
I have done a Bento style lunch for the kids for the last couple years…this makes it look so much easier….and the roominess of the bag is a major plus. Loved the idea of putting a soup thermos in with as an extra.

Great sight and product thank you.
I love the color of the Turquoise (blue) bag.

  220. Liz macias says:

OMG! I am going to buy this for my daughter. I pack her lunch everyday. I hate looking for lids to diffrent containers. Her favorite color is purple. I can’t wait for her to see it. Thanks!

  221. Elizabeth says:

Love that these containers all stack in one another so you can fit them easily on a shelf and that they are BPA free & dishwasher safe. We would love to try these out at our house! I would actually pick any color, but love the red one for my son!

  222. Stacy Kinman says:

I love the divided containers…my kids hate it when “the food is touching!!” And bye-bye to the TONS of sandwich bags I purchase. I would love the black one.

  223. Cassie says:

Love them! BPA free is a big selling point for our family and I especially love that the main meal plus two sides fit in the container, what a great idea. The REd bag is super cute too :)

Thanks for offering such an awesome give-away!

  224. Rita says:

Love the convenience of them and the fact that they are environmental friendly–no more plastic sandwich bags to buy!!! Would love them in black..Thanks

  225. Noelle says:

LOVE it! I have 6 kids and a husband carrying a lunch. We could really put this system to good use!

  226. Kymberly says:

This would be such a life saver. After having home schooled my children for the past 3 years, my son will be going back to school this year, as a high schooler no less. We have been trying to get everything ready & just this morning I was thinking about the lunch box situation. These are wonderful! Green is his favorite color & it looks like this whole system would make it SO much easier to take along a healthy variety for lunch! Even though he is excited to be going back to school, I’ve been having some trouble adjusting. This could help me be concerned about one less thing! Thank you for offering us the opportunity!

  227. Vicki says:

After 15 years as a stay-at-home mom, I’m venturing out of the house to work in our family business. I’ve looked unsuccessfully for a “grown up” lunchbox, this product looks perfect. I especially like the purple bag. I also love the fact that the containers and lids stack for easy storage.

  228. Nicole says:

What I have learned from you is that there is an simple and inexpensive healthy way for making my kids lunch. I also learned the trick about how to leak proof your container. Great Tip. No more searching for the right size container and then finding the lid that goes with that container. The are stackable so when not in use thet fit nicely in the cupboard. Colour Coded so everyone knows which lunch is whose. I cannot tell you how glad I am to have found your system. I am on the parent council at my kids school and we are trying to get the parents to go litterless, the number 1 complaint is the container nightmare, will definately be mentioning your system at the open house. Thanks so much for having such an affordable system out there, oh ya I think the purple is just so cute.

  229. Rheiko says:

I think this is a great idea for convenient lunch packing. I love the fact that the container has divided sections, and that it will fit inside of the lunch bag. I could use one for myself because I just returned to work a month ago after being a stay-at-home Mom for the last 5yrs. I would like the green lunch bag.

  230. Julie Banton says:

There are so many things to love about this system! The nesting containers, the money saved, etc. But I think what I like best is how the lid is shaped to actually fit around the individual compartments! I have never seen one like it. I would love to have the dark red cooler bag if I am chosen. Thanks!

  231. Kristina Dowty says:

I like everything in one container and not several containers. They nest, and are dishwasher save!! 3 kids – this would be awesome!! Our school colors are orange and black; so orange would be perfect!

  232. manda says:

I learned that they are dishwasher safe, and I would pick black.

  233. Amy says:

I love the fact that it is self-contained and it fits inside a lunch bag (even if it was designed for the container). It looks like it would fit other lunch bags pretty well also. I can’t tell you how many times I have to cram several little containers into one lunch box! I’m lucky if it still zips closed. Great idea!!! We love the red (matches school colors)!!!

  234. ~Shannon~ says:

I like that “They’re BPA-free, SAFE and environmentally friendly, too!” These will make it easy to go to litter free lunches!
