Caramel Apple Cider

If I had to pick a favorite season, it would definitely be autumn. I love the crisp air, the colorful leaves, and the beginning of the holiday season. And I absolutely LOVE apples.

There is a certain popular coffee shop (which shall remain nameless), that I love to frequent once they start offering their caramel apple spice in the fall. However, if I were to purchase one from them every day, I’d end up feeling guilty about spending that much money on something as silly as a hot drink. Luckily, the recipe is incredibly easy to recreate at home. You can buy the cinnamon syrup from the aforementioned coffee shop, or you can buy a similar syrup at most grocery stores.

Caramel Apple Cider

  • 12 oz apple juice
  • 2-3 TBS cinnamon syrup
  • Whipped cream
  • Caramel ice cream topping
Pour apple juice into a large mug. Heat into the microwave about 1 minute 30 seconds or until hot. Remove from microwave and add cinnamon syrup. Top with whipped cream and caramel syrup.
