<p>Pomegranates are in season!&#160; I picked a couple up at the grocery store the other day, and them my husband and I got in a discussion on the best way to actually get the seeds out to eat.&#160; (Yes, you eat the seeds in this interesting fruit – if you were unaware).</p>
<p>At any rate, we ended up finding a video on youtube that solved it for us – and it did work quite nicely &amp; easily.&#160; Give it a try!</p>
<p align="center"><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sHyqoeB0Wlk&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/sHyqoeB0Wlk&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></p>
<p> Tip:&#160; You can freeze pomegranate seeds for up to three months. To do this, lay the seeds on a flat cookie sheet and freeze for one hour before transferring to a freezer bag or container for storage. </p>
