Cheddar Biscuits
If you like biscuits and you love cheese, you need to make these biscuits. Right now. They’re SO good! My kids absolutely love them – they’re light and flaky, and the bottoms of the biscuits have a buttery crispness that can’t be beat! They’re especially good straight out of the oven, so try to serve them hot with dinner if you can.
Cheddar Biscuits
- 2 1/2 Cups Bisquick
- 1 C sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
- 3/4 C milk
- 2 TBS melted butter
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 C butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine Bisquick with cheddar cheese, milk, 2 TBS of melted butter, and 1/4 tsp garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
Drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheet in 1/4 C portions. Bake for 14-16 minutes, until the tops of the biscuits are lightly golden brown.
Melt remaining 1/4 C butter in the microwave. Add 1/2 tsp garlic powder and parsley flakes, stir to combine. Brush over the tops of the biscuits as soon as they are removed from the oven.
