Chocolate Heath Homemade Ice-Cream

It’s my birthday today, (and very hot outside) so we decided to have a treat – homemade ice-cream!  YUM!  We made basic vanilla for the 1st batch, and then concocted this recipe for the 2nd batch.

Chocolate Heath Ice-Cream

2 C. Whipping Cream
1 C. 1/2 & 1/2
1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 C. Brownie Mix (out of a box)
1/2 Jar Hot Fudge
1/2 bag Heath Toffee Chips

Mix ingredients and pour into your ice-cream maker.  Churn according to manufacturer’s directions.

We were going to add a bit of instant mocha coffee mix, but the kids didn’t like that idea so much so we skipped that.

At any rate it was super creamy and yummy!  Let me know if you try it!

Oh wow – that sounds good! Who would have thought to use brownie mix? Yum!

Thanks Kristen! I know… a friend of mine said she uses Chocolate cake mix, but I didn’t have that, so I used brownie mix. It was really creamy, and my hubby thinks the brownie mix had something to do with that.
