December is a busy month.  Holiday parties, gatherings, school events, shopping….  It is hard to get it all done AND have a great dinner for your family.  The Crock Pot comes in handy during this time and this is hearty and warm for a cold December day.  Serve it with a side salad and a great bread and you have dinner ready on a busy day!

Crock Pot Lasagna

  • 8 lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 28oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Break noodles and place half of them in the bottom of a greased slow cooker.

Brown beef; drain.  Stir in Italian seasoning.  Spread half over noodles.

Layer half each of sauce, water, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese.  Repeat layers beginning with noodles.
