Dizzy Dogs

I asked my daughter to help out with today’s recipe.  It was easy for her to put together on her own and she was so proud to serve them to the family!

First, you need to wash your hands!

Heat oven to 375.  Take a hot dog and wrap it with one breadstick.  Try not to let them stretch out though… makes them harder to get around the hot dog.

Once you get them all wrapped, brush them with the egg white.  This will let them get brown and crispy.

Sprinkle with seeds if you want.

Cook for 12-15 minutes or until bread is done.  We think maybe the oven was too hot because these got too brown on the bottom – or it could have been are dark colored pan.

Serve hot with ketchup, mustard, or barbeque sauce!

Dizzy Dogs

  • pkg of hot dogs
  • tube of breadsticks
  • an egg white
  • sesame seeds
Preheat oven to 375.  Wrap breadsticks around hot dog and place on a cookie sheet.  Brush with egg white and sprinkle with seeds.  Bake for 12 -15 minutes or until bread is done.  Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.  Remember if you are serving these to young children cut the hot dog in half lengthwise!
