Easy Chicken Parmesan
When fall begins our schedule gets crazy. Between soccer, school, and church things like Awana we are just busy. I look for recipes that are quick to make but are more than just mac and cheese.
This dinner is one of those. I love that I don’t have to brown the chicken before hand so I save a dish. Serve this with a French bread and a salad and your family will be energized to head to the next thing on the list!
Easy Chicken Parmesan
- 1 jar {14 oz} spaghetti sauce
- 6 Tbsp. grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
- 6 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves {about 1 1/2 lbs}
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 375. Pour sauce into a 13×9 baking dish. Stir in 4 Tbsp. {1/4 cup} of the Parmesan cheese. Add chicken; turn over to evenly coat both sides with sauce. Cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes. Uncover.
Top with mozzarella cheese and remaining 2 Tbsp. Parmesan cheese; continue baking 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and cheese is melted. Serve over hot cooked pasta.
