Breakfast – Pumpkin Pancakes (used up some mix we bought from Trader Joe’s – which is a special treat, because the closest Trader Joe’s is 2 hours away!)  YUM!  We had grapefruit to go along with it.

Lunch - I ate leftover pancakes – I just had grapefruit for breakfast. Ryan had hot lunch day at school.  (He goes to a private school, and they only do hot lunch on Wednesdays).  Dane went out to lunch with a friend.  Christian had leftover chili, Go-Gurt & Oreos.  Annika had a leftover pancake, a Fruitabu and Strawberry Mish Mash

Dinner – My husband and two younger boys helped with at church tonight taking down the Christmas decorations – so they ate Chili there.  Ryan, Annika & I had Chicken Breasts, Pasta Roni & Apple slices.

We’re expecting a big snow storm tomorrow!  I am sure the grocery stores were crazy today.  Thankfully… I had no reason to go!

I just made my Chicken Mushroom soup (Swine Flu Soup) Its fast super yummy and the kids all gobble it down.

Lunch was hotdogs, breakfast was eggs on english muffins, so far doing good.

Staying on track. Older kids had applesauce bread from freezer for breakfast along with a piece of fruit. Baby had baby cereal and jar of bananas. I had an egg white omelet and some turkey bacon. For lunch kids had wraps, cauliflower, and split a pear. Plus 3 pb oreos each finishing up the pack. I had a salad with leftover taco meat from fridge. For dinner we had leftover roast and made a bag of instant rice from pantry. Plus a can of green beans. Ran out of milk and made some powdered milk because it’s too cold to go to store plus want to avoid boredom shopping! Feeling very motivated with this challenge. Plan a special treat for myself at end of month when I see how much money I saved. Probably be a new magazine but hey it’s the point!

I can’t say that I have ever had pumpkin pancakes. Might just have to see if Trader Joes here has that mix.
