How To Eat A Pomegranate

Pomegranates are in season!  I picked a couple up at the grocery store the other day, and them my husband and I got in a discussion on the best way to actually get the seeds out to eat.  (Yes, you eat the seeds in this interesting fruit – if you were unaware).

At any rate, we ended up finding a video on youtube that solved it for us – and it did work quite nicely & easily.  Give it a try!

Tip:  You can freeze pomegranate seeds for up to three months. To do this, lay the seeds on a flat cookie sheet and freeze for one hour before transferring to a freezer bag or container for storage.
