I get requests for product reviews all the time.  I turn down lots, but JD’s Salsa is one I decided to feature!  Remember, I only feature products I am willing to recommend to my personal friends and family.  Many products get tried in this house with no product recommendation attached, because we just don’t love them.

Are you ready to hear about JD’s Salsa?  You guys, this is sooo simple and absolutely delicious!  The salsa mix comes in a can that makes 25 batches (WOW!) - there are two varieties – Mild & Hot.  See they look like this:

All you do is mix one scoop of the mix with a can of petite diced tomatoes, chill and viola – serve!  We also tried it with diced fresh tomatoes – which was great too!  It really is super yummy!  I prefer the mild variety, but hubby prefers the hot.  We also followed the recipe on the can to make a dip using 1/4 cup. mayo., 3/4 C. Sour Cream, and a scoop of mix.  It was an amazing dip – great for crackers, tortilla chips, potato chips, or veggies.  We tried it on everything and it was so so so good!

Both Seasonings are:  Gluten Free, MSG Free, Sugar Free, Preservative Free, Cholesterol Free, Calorie, Free, Low Sodium and all Natural.

You can purchase the seasonings (and find many more recipes) at http://www.jdsalsa.com

JD’s Salsa was also very generous, and is allowing me to give away FIVE sets of salsa seasoning (a mild and a hot to each winner – a $44.95 Value)  To Enter please do the following:

1.)  Head over to JD’s Salsa’s Facebook Page and “Like” them – https://www.facebook.com/Jdssalsa

2.) Comment on this blog post with what you like to eat Salsa On

*Winners will be randomly chosen on Tue. Sept. 4th.

Good Luck and ENJOY!  I think I will go make some more dip now for the kids to snack on when they get home!

  1. I love to eat salsa on most things. My oldest son (who has autism) has been on a salsa kick lately so I’ve been trying new recipes. He’s a traditionalist – chips and salsa – but we have been able to get him to eat other things like eggs and pork chops by adding salsa as an option. I also use salsa in my guacamole (it’s four ingredients – avocado, salsa, salt, and lime) to make things easier.

One the best recipes I have is for oven roasted salmon – cut the fillet into 1.5 inch strips. Toss in olive oil salt and pepper. Preheat the oven with an empty 9×13 glass pan in it to 500 – yes, 500. Once it is heated take out the pan and lay the strips of salmon skin down – it will sizzle. Then put it back in the oven for 9 min at 235. This will be the best salmon you’ve ever had, and I top it with fresh salsa!!! I serve it with a side of Quinoa and a small fresh salad. Enjoy!
