Orange Creamsicle

I love creamsicles.  I have tried making these in the past but can never get the flavor right.  Although this one still seems to be missing something to taste fully like a creamsicles, it is still yummy.

Be sure to crush your ice up well before you add the other ingredients otherwise you will get ice “parts” in your popsicle!  Also get a good quality concentrate or it might taste bitter.

  • 1 can of orange juice concentrate, slightly thawed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 – 1 cup sugar {tastes more like a creamsicle with 1 cup}
  • 2 cups ice, crushed

Place ice in blender, crush well.  Add remaining ingredients mixing until smooth and all sugar has combined and dissolved.

Pour into popscicle molds and freeze for a few hours.  Refreshing summer treat!
