Summer Vacation has Arrived at Our House

I am so excited to have the kids home for the summer!  For those of you still in school, I am sorry.. BUT you will be happy when we go back Aug. 21st and you still have a few weeks of summer left!

It is a bit of a packed summer, but we also have relaxation built in.  I have a feeling it is going to be an amazing life-changing summer!

Right now my in-laws are visiting for two weeks.  We only see them once a year usually, so it is nice to have them!

Also right now there is a skunk eating the cat food outside of my front door – ewwwww!

I FINALLY got my flower pots and garden planted the last couple days.  That was slow in coming, but I’m excited it is done!  There are still lots of weeds that need to be attacked in the raspberry patch, but we’re getting there!

We made it to the public pool yesterday and got our summer passes.  The boys decided not to do swim team this year (YEA!) so I told them we would get passes to the pool.  They are excited!  I on the other hand… was not excited to hear the language coming out of the kids mouths at the pool  WOW!  I did ask a few of them to stop.  My 3 year old was having a snack (and you can only eat it in the snack court, so we couldn’t walk away) and so I had to ask them to stop (which they sort of tamed it down a bit, but it was still bad!)  So if you know me.. and you hear A- swearing this summer… you know we have been to the pool!  She picks up on EVERYTHING right now…

I should really have some pictures of my flowers of the kids swimming or something to post in here, but I don’t… and I’m tired… so I’m going to bed!  (and it’s summer, so I can actually sleep in a tad longer!  YIPPEE!)
