Teriyaki Chops
It is the middle of winter and I was feeling like something grilled. Now my husband would certainly be happy to dig the grill out of the snow for me, but I decided to use the broiler instead. Not the same flavor, but does a good job for me.
To save on clean up, I line my broil pan with aluminum foil and spray it. Cleaning a broil pan is on my least favorite things to do.
These pork chops are marinaded in a sweet sauce. I usually put them in a bag in the morning so I have a good flavor by dinner time. You could even put this all in a freezer bag for a meal later if you like to make freezer meals.
Teriyaki Chops
- 2 TBSP Teriyaki Sauce
- 1 TBSP brown sugar
- 1 TBSP minced onion
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 4 1″ boneless pork chops
Stir together first four ingredients. Marinate pork chops in mixture. Refrigerate for 1-2 hours.
Place chops on broil pan. Broil 5-6 inches from heat for 12-15 minutes, brushing with marinade occasionally and turning once, until pork chops are done.
