		<description>We use extra virgin olive oil in most things. When cooking with high heat we use regular olive oil...the light one. Other than that, we use butter and/or coconut oil in place of shortening in all our recipes. 

Everything has worked great for us...we&#039;ve not experienced any real differences in substituting these for shortening and I think they are much healthier than shortening.</description>

		<description>I use coconut oil and cold press extra virgin olive oil. Coconut is excellent for fried foods and it is extremely good for you. EVOO is excellent too, the thing is when you use it to fry you are losing all the &#039;good&#039; about it. Hence, the coconut oil. With CO you can fry and feel good!
